Child Protection

Safe and Sound

Poole Salvation Army puts the highest priority on Child Protection and Health and Safety.

All our children and youth volunteer team members have received up to date child protection training and all have approved Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as Criminal Record Bureau, or C.R.B) Checks.

We are committed to encouraging and supporting all children to feel safe, making sure that each child and adult feels valued and listened to in all our programmes and activities.

Our child protection policy (Safe and Sound) is adhered to in the highest degree, making sure our children/youth workers are adequately equipped to protect all children and young people who are entrusted to our care.

A copy of our child protection policy (Safe and Sound) is available on request.
We also have qualified First Aiders at each session.
