The Songster Brigade is the name given to The Salvation Army choir. Their music encompasses pieces from both traditional and modern composers.
The aim of the Songster Brigade is to encourage and inspire people through singing about the Good News contained in the Gospel, with a very important secondary aim of providing friendship and fellowship within the group itself.
We sing every Sunday at our morning (10.30am) service and rehearse every Thursday evening at 7.30pm.
We also sing at our open air services which usually take place at Poole Quay during the summer/holiday season.
At Christmas-time the Songsters can occasionally be heard in the Dolphin Centre or at local supermarkets in Poole. Once again, on these occasions our main purpose is to bring a blessing to people passing by through the truth contained within words of the songs we sing.
